Using high speed cameras and a panoramic imager to record the movements of ground-nesting wasps, as well as constructing 3D wasp environment models, Australian researchers were able to recreate how a wasp sees the world. Being able to see the world from a wasp’s eye view is helping researchers learn more about wasps. It may also be implemented into flying robots someday.
