Residents of Avoyelles Parish in Louisiana are seeing what looks like lady bugs in their homes- but they are not actually lady bugs. The insects, which have a mark in the shape of an M behind their head, are actually Asian lady beetles. While they bite, their bite is not considered to be dangerous. They do produce a yellow colored defensive chemical that doesn’t smell pleasant and can be seen on the surfaces of homes.
